Senior Manager - Customer & Product Policies Locations: Leeds, Edinburgh, Halifax
Salary Range: £83,411 - £107,943
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: Hybrid working, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity: The Customer and Product Policy team sets the standards for product design, servicing, monitoring, and withdrawal.
We own the policy that governs how we treat our customers, ensuring good outcomes across the Group and helping colleagues meet regulatory requirements.
This is an exciting time to join us as we implement and design new product governance and fair value assessment tooling.
We seek individuals with experience in managing or overseeing products to help ensure that our tooling leads to improved products based on strong data-led decision-making.
Day to day, you will be: Advocating for customers through concise, commercially sensitive advice on policy interpretation and regulations.
Leading the design of new product governance tooling, ensuring successful embedding across all areas.
Leading sub-teams of Risk Specialist Managers and Assistant Managers.
Drafting Customer and Product policies and supporting rollout activities.
Playing an integral role in ensuring Group projects succeed through supportive, business-focused challenges.
What you'll need: Expertise in applying Consumer Duty, PROD, BCOBS, PERG 13, and translating regulatory requirements into understandable language.
Expert drafting skills with experience in preparing concise reports for senior audiences.
Significant senior-level experience in product governance and/or product management within financial services.
Excellent collaboration and management skills.
And any experience of these would be really useful: Knowledge of applying behavioral economics to drive action.
Using data analysis to draw insights from various sources.
Experience leading and inspiring small teams.
Experience leading change in a function.
