Role responsibilities: Supporting the UK&I legal team as a senior commercial lawyerStrategic advising, drafting and negotiating various complex commercial contracts, including joint development agreements and master supply and services agreements with key strategic suppliersWorking closely with Marketing and advertising teamsOverseeing distribution activities in UK&I, advising on new product launches and deal structuringLegal operations optimisation, creating and improving templatesCompetition law advice within the context of commercial contracts (horizontal and vertical agreements, dominance risks)Regulatory matters pertaining to the Tobacco industry and risk managementOur client is in the Tobacco and vaping industry and so requires the following experience: 5 Years PQE and above ideallyExperience within FMCG, Pharma, Energy, or other highly regulated/product-based businessesBroad commercial experience and experience working with marketing and advertising matters in regulated industriesExperience within tobacco would be ideal but not essentialSelf-sufficient, confident, and collegiateHigh energy, approachable, and supportive in natureRelationship builder and able to partner with the business and be solutions-focusedAble to adapt to differing volumes and types of in-house workloads and work independentlySalary: up to £95,000 (DOE) + 25%-40% bonus (Dependent on company performance and personal performance)
Working arrangements: 2 days a week in West London offices
Duration of contract: 12 months
Start date: ASAP (early Jan - early Feb target)
