Job Title: Lead Developer Location: Bristol
Office Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum (salary dependent on experience and match to post)
About the Role
As a Lead Developer, you will take on a critical role in balancing hands-on engineering with team leadership.
Your mission will be to drive software projects that align with the business goals, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and innovative software solutions.
You will mentor an already capable team and support engineers, fostering a team culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead software strategy and architecture
Mentor and develop team members
Ownership of the full software development lifecycle
Cross-Functional collaboration
Drive innovation and implement best practices
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving
Experience
Years in software engineering with at least 1 year in a Principal or team lead role.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring high-performing software engineering teams.
Typescript / Javascript development experience with a strong foundation in system architecture, design patterns, and scalable solutions.
Strong web application and restful API skills.
Strong database skills.
Good AWS knowledge.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Remuneration Package
~ Permanent contract
~ Up to £85,000 per annum
~ Flexible working hours (core hours of 10 am - 4 pm)
