About the role We are recruiting for acommercially astute Senior Land Manager to support our business' growth withinthe Eastern region, based at our office in St Albans.
You will motivate,develop and manage our land team to investigate and appraise all possible sitesfor development within our eastern region.
As our Senior Land Manager, you'll be working closely withthe Land Director as well our planning, construction and design teams on a dayto day basis.
The role is fastmoving and sociable; you'll liaise with Local Authorities, Estate Agents andLand Owners on a day to day basis.
You'll be required to make a minimum number of recommendations topurchase land in line with the Regional Land objectives.
Excitingly, you'll have the opportunity tohelp the company grow through the acquisition of new sites.

Your duties will include finding new sites forthe company to purchase, negotiating the purchase of them and undertakingdetailed reviews of settlements.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9.00amto 5.30pm and 9.00am to 5.00pm on Friday.
Please note that overtime may berequired during peak times and frequent travel outside of the office isrequired.
About you You'll have extensive Land experience within theproperty sector, ideally experience of acquiring Land in city & town centres, the ability to influence decisions using appropriate methodsand facts and proven negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
You will also havedemonstrable man management experience including conducting training andone-to-ones.
You will beanalytical, a driven individual with a hunger for success, will enjoy meetingtargets and overcoming challenges.
It's essential that you have a valid UKdrivers license and a competent driver as you'll be spending a large proportionof your time out of the office.
