Senior Java Software Engineer

Synapri are currently working with a major Public Sector Organisation to hire a Senior Java Developer on an inside IR-35 Contract basis.

This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in the Leeds office and is a 12 month initial contract period with high likelihood of extension.

The key responsibilities for the role are:
Designing and leading the strategies for building reusable libraries and services Own development of medium-long term strategies for product lines Provide 3rd line support of products developed Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple Software Engineering teams The required skills are:
5+ years of Java Experience SQL Database management Spring Framework experience TDD experience with tools such as Junit and Cucumber API Experience Containerisation experience (Kubernetes / Docker) This role cannot offer sponsorship and will require people to actively hold or be eligible for SC Clearance.
