Job summary Anexciting new role has arisen for a Senior IT Service Delivery Manager to join theHospice team to help shape the future of IT at Willen.You will play a pivotalrole in aligning the IT strategy with the organisations overall objectives, workingclosely with the Managed Service Provider to ensure high-quality IT support andinfrastructure.
Working in consultation with the Director of Finance and IT,you will establish robust IT governance frameworks, oversee and project manageidentified IT projects and oversee the IT budget to ensure cost-effectivetechnology solutions.

Job description Job responsibilities StrategicPlanning: In consultation withthe Director of Finance and IT, develop and execute a mid to long-term ITstrategy that supports Willen Hospice's mission, including cloud-based systemsand electronic health record management.
IT Governance: Establish robust IT governance frameworksto ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy laws.
TechnologyLeadership: Guide the ExecutiveTeam on technology trends and investments, ensuring that IT capabilities matchorganisational needs.
ProjectManagement: Oversee andproject manage identified IT projects with the outsourced MSP, particularlythose aimed at system transformations and improvements.
Work collaborativelywith Database Owners to support the further development and effective use ofdata held across the organisation.
VendorManagement: Collaboratewith the MSP/manage the MSP and other technology partners to ensurehigh-quality IT support and infrastructure management.
Work with the MSP toshape the future of IT at Willen.
RiskManagement: Identify andmitigate IT risks, especially those related to 24/7 healthcare delivery andfundraising events.
Procurement: Overall responsibility for all ITprocurement within the Organisation, including obtaining the best possibleprices without compromising on quality.
Budgetingand Resource Allocation: Inconsultation with the Director of Finance and IT, oversee IT budgeting andensure cost-effective technology solutions.
Efficiency - Implement strategies alongside the MSP toreduce remedial support tickets and enhance system reliability.
Usersatisfaction - Improve usersatisfaction through effective technology solutions and responsive IT support.
Policiesand Procedures - takeownership of all IT related Policies and Procedures ensuring they are updatedon a timely basis.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential At least three years experience in a similar role, including dealing with outsourced service providers.
Sound knowledge of IT systems and processes including Microsoft Office, cloud platforms, web analytics (preferably in relation to Healthcare or third sector) and ideally CRM solutions.
Experience of developing systems to support efficient and effective processes is essential.
Influential and credible in providing both strategic and operational IT specialist advice and support.
Leadership experience.
Knowledge of regulations such as GDPR.
Likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Excellent knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis, preferably within the third sector, with experience of delivering end-to-end analytical solutions in Power BI (or similar)
