The ideal candidate will have a robust background in configuring and implementing crucial cybersecurity measures, including compliance with cyber essentials and GDPR security standards.
Proficiency in Office 365 Cloud services (including Email, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive) is essential, as is hands-on experience in the maintenance and installation of network infrastructure components like routers, switches, access points, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and VLANs.
A successful applicant will also have the ability to work collaboratively with service providers and will consistently uphold industry best practices, ensuring the highest standards of quality and security.
Familiarity with Windows Server versions 2016, 2019, and 2022, along with expertise in managing group policies and security configurations, is a must.
Experience with Azure administration and implementations will be considered an asset.
Moreover, a well-rounded understanding of various operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac, is crucial, alongside a familiarity with different client builds and imaging techniques.
The ability to provide excellent customer support, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills, will be essential for success in this role.
You will also need to demonstrate a proven ability to problem-solve and discover effective solutions for complex technical challenges.
Your duties will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, such as providing hands-on technical support and maintenance for clients' IT systems on-site on a regular basis, engaging directly with senior and high-profile clients to address complex issues with professionalism and ease, delivering on-site project management to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards, and identifying opportunities to upsell technical solutions that align with clients' evolving needs.
Benefits: £45,000 - £60,000 per year depending on experience.

Minimum of 5 years in IT field engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
Proven experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Experience in technical sales or client-facing technical roles.
Proven experience in configuring and implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
Strong proficiency in Office 365 Cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Deep understanding of network infrastructure maintenance and installations.
