Role responsibilities: Perform deep dives into business data to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks, with the goal of optimising trading and strategic growth programme ("mission") performance and ultimately maximising Zuto's overall growth.
Partner across the full Zuto senior team to provide them with support and expertise to help them to use data analysis to maximise growth performance in their area and to define their key focus areas.
Pro-actively highlight to channel, funnel and product owners appropriate growth and customer-improvement opportunities based on data and customer insights.
Presentation & Storytelling: Convert complex data into clear, actionable insights, and communicate these effectively to senior stakeholders.
Validate business hypotheses through data analysis and testing and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Acts as the senior lead in Zuto's insights team, supporting the Head of Customer Insights and Growth (who will be on PCGL from Jan/Feb 2025).
Provide coaching support to the team.
Experience, skills and qualifications required: Smart, strong academic record.
Keen to work in a dynamic, high-growth, friendly business that operates at a fast pace.
Superb analytical skills.
Great at visualising complex data to drive actionable insight.
Very strong sense of business context and ability to quickly understand key value drivers of a business.
Growth instincts and common sense.
Great at spotting early which analyses are good for you and the team to spend time and focus on as they have big scope to create growth / improvement and which aren't.
Strong senior presentation and x-functional stakeholder management – can provide evidence of ability to business partner and use data analysis to drive/implement change across a business at a senior level.
Strong SQL skills.
Strong experience in the use of data visualisation software, ideally tableau.
Experience in GA very useful.
Other data analytics software skills possibly also advantageous.
Evidence of coaching / path to people leadership.
People leadership experience helpful but not critical – the key thing here is a to demonstrate an aptitude / desire to coach more junior people in the team and to show strong scope to take on some full line management in the near term (next few months after starting).
