Role Summary The post holder will assist the Business Intelligence Team in the coordination and provision of high quality, timely and accurate contracting information to support the Trust.
They will be responsible for the monitoring, investigation, analysis and challenge of information to assist in improvement initiatives and the effective delivery and assurance of operational delivery, quality and patient safety.
The person will be able to analyse and present complex, contentious and sensitive data, interpreting and reporting on results.

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Business Intelligence for an enthusiastic Senior Information Analyst to support the delivery of information analysis and business intelligence solutions to our Finance Team.
This role will be suited to a self-motivated and talented individual that has experience of working with colleagues at a Senior/Executive level, and who is dedicated to working as part of an effective and ambitious informatics team.
The role will involve processing of contracting data to a high level of accuracy, lead new developments and maintain and develop existing processes in the contracting arena.
The post holder will be part of a team that supports the implementation and development of Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enable and deliver the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust performance monitoring and information reporting requirements.
Business Intelligence work closely with clinical and managerial staff from a variety of areas within the organisation to gain a better understanding of the Trust's performance and to support the delivery of the Trust's key objectives.
The position will require a good understanding of analytical and technical techniques that can be applied to healthcare information, particularly the contracting arena, and offers a proactive and motivated candidate the chance to expand current proficiencies and develop new skills within a changing and challenging environment.
