Infrastructure Engineer – Windows, Azure, Hyper-V, hybrid To work on the technical implementation and maintenance of this environmental company's services and infrastructure which will cover both on-prem and cloud environments.
Their business relies heavily on software applications, making this role essential for ensuring service continuity and driving business growth.
You will take a pivotal role in the design, build and management of the on-prem servers (Windows), virtualisation (Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (Azure).
This includes working on both physical and virtual hardware.
Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of the infrastructure including regular maintenance, patching and updates.
Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion Experience with infrastructure including Virtualisation (Hyper-V), physical servers (windows) and storage.
Windows server 2012-2019, AD, DNS, DHCP, Failover manager etc.
Experience with on prem data centre maintenance and management.
configuring and maintaining network devices such as Firewalls (Palo alto/Cisco ASA), Switches DR implementation networking principals and technologies Hardware and software patching/firmware upgrades Asset management
