Role: Senior HR Advisor - FTC (12-months) Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA – Office Based Contract: Full Time / 12-month Fixed Term Salary: £37,000 per annum Company: EG Group About the Role… At EG Group we are seeking an interim Senior HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR Operations Team on a 12-month maternity cover basis.
In this role you will support the HR Operations function through the delivery of an efficient service to the business.
This is a key role within the team offering front line support to our colleagues and supporting the HR Business Partner in a project focussed role.
The successful candidate will be required to organise and prioritise workload according to deadlines and the changing needs of the business and HR function.
As a HR Advisor it will be required to manage a small team and work closely with other members of the department to ensure a high quality of service is delivered to the business.
You will be responsible for ensuring processes and procedures within regulatory framework are adhered to.
The Senior HR advisor will also serve as the first point of contact for the HR Advisors to provide comprehensive advice and support.
Duties & Responsibilities Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation Lead and manage a small team of HR Advisors and Coordinators, facilitating review and appraisal processes where necessary Proactively monitor ER cases ensuring they are prioritised, and support is provided to operational leads as soon as possible ensuring compliance with employment law and escalating to the HRBP where necessary Ensuring SLA's are met / exceeded to contribute towards a high performing HR operations team Coach and develop leaders in managing change, development, capability and performance related issues, driving fairness, consistency and transparency Contribution and alignment to HRBP activities and objectives and implementing new HR operational initiatives Undertaking HR projects including reviewing and updating HR policies Involvement in TUPE related matters and redundancy, providing expert information and guidance to the business and employees Preparation / presenting HR updates at Regional Meetings Producing audits and reports in a timely manner and taking appropriate action This list is not exhaustive and may be added to or amended from time to time Candidate Requirements CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 certification Ability to manage and develop a team Strong organisational skills with ability to handle a fast-paced, process-focused environment Passionate about HR, a team player, with excellent communication skills Experience managing a small team Proven experience with complex casework management Knowledge of SAP - desirable Benefits & Rewards Performance Based Bonus Scheme Flexible working hours - (Core hours 10am - 4pm) Employee Life Assurance EG Group Discounts - up to 15% off at our stores and food to go restaurants ASDA Discount Card – 10% off all ASDA stores Free Secure Car Parking Dress Down Fridays Smart Health – 24/7 online GP access and health checks Employee Assistance Programme – Including free financial advice Learning & Development – access to our Learning Hub Waterside Café - freshly prepared meals at affordable prices Prayer and Ablution Facilities Free Eye Test Who are EG Group?
