Responsibilities: Preparation of detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports on a variety of projects.Provide assurance that scheme designs comply with specification and agreed programme.Work to ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements.Ensure designs are assessed for environmental impacts.Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders and third parties.Coordinate with other team members associated with the design.Support junior team members working on projects.Candidate Profile: Sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for Streets.Ability to engage and conduct effective negotiations with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties.Detailed understanding of Health & Safety legislation.Competent in use of Civils 3D.We are looking for exceptional people at Principal Transport Planner grade (someone with around 6 – 9 years experience) who want to get involved in delivering projects and be a key member of our growing team.
