We are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager to lead on the delivery of Health and Safety, in a growing and challenging environment.
You will drive continued focus on a safe working culture, whilst building and ensuring compliance to internal and external process requirements.
You will embed a safe culture that focusses upon building our networks safely with a rapidly growing workforce.
The Role: Our Senior Health and Safety Manager will partner with all management teams to provide an integrated service in all aspects of HSEQ management to all business unit activities.
This will involve the development and delivery of strategic plans and objectives that support both operational requirements and the Group's governance and assurance framework for health, safety, environmental and quality management.
Responsible for the day-to-day activities concerning health and safety Developing and implementing, through appropriate consultation, procedures to support our Health and Safety Policy Carrying out safety risk assessments, safety audits and quality audits Maintaining an accident reporting system and investigating all health and safety accidents and 'near misses' in conjunction with line managers Providing advice and guidance on all matters of occupational health, safety, and welfare Creating and maintaining a safety management system Developing and delivering toolbox talks and any training that is required, either mandatory or from investigations to improve competency and best practice Providing weekly and monthly reports for Operations, C-Level and Director level Skills and Experience: Previous experience within a SHEQ / Health and Safety management position Experience within a telecoms, utilities, or civil engineering environment would be advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior experience in undertaking site and contractor audits to ensure compliance, skill competency and quality standards Able to prepare method statements and risk assessments Demonstrated ability in managing health & safety metrics Experience of developing and implementing ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 Management Standards is highly preferred.
Qualifications: BSC in Occupational safety and health management BSC in Occupational Health MSc certificate in Safety & Risk management NEBOSH HSE accident and investigation  NEBOSH managing risk and risk assessment  NEBOSH environmental awareness at work  NEBOSH general certificate NEBOSH health and safety management  ISOH for managers Full UK Driving Licence (travel will be required) Why Trooli: At Trooli, we are passionate about innovation and excellence.
