Job summary This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Support Worker to work in Beechley Medical Centre, Wrexham.
This practice is currently being managed by the Local Health Board.Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given.
Main duties of the job The role will assist the GPs and Practice Nursing Team on a daily basis and duties will include phlebotomy, dressings, ECG's, health advice and checks, treatment room duties, urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory.The post holder will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures.The position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and suitable references.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
