Senior Health And Safety Professional

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Amazon TA.
This critical role involves managing the health and safety function within our Fulfillment Centre, ensuring delivery of objectives through supervision of staff.
Key Responsibilities Proactively engage in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites, driving improvements in inbound safety, quality, and productivity.
Provide authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
Review and audit arrangements for health & safety management, continuously improving these arrangements where appropriate.
Develop strategies to plan and organize work systems to reduce health & safety risks, recommending and implementing mitigations and processes.
Evaluate and maintain robust reporting regimes for Health and Safety metrics.
Drive behavioral culture change program across a large, complex, multi-shift operation.
Implement and review company global safety policies, ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements.
Requirements Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level.
Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
Compensation and Benefits The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
