They design and manufacture highly accurate and safe medical equipment that is powered by AI.
We are urgently hiring for a Senior Hardware/Electronics Engineer to join their R&D Team.
In this role, you'll drive the hardware design process, contribute to advanced imaging technologies such as electromagnetic and ultrasonic tomography, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions with real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities Lead the full electronics design process, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
Develop hardware solutions that meet technical and regulatory requirements, ensuring designs are optimised for manufacturing and testing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance cutting-edge imaging and tomography technologies.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies into products to improve performance and functionality.
Provide technical guidance to firmware/FPGA engineers, setting requirements and test specifications.
Manage and deliver projects using agile methodologies (SCRUM).
Essential Skills and Experience :
Experience designing and developing multi-layer PCBs using tools like Altium or MentorGraphics.
Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor designs, communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi), and high-speed interfaces.
Experience with EMC compliance, power supply design, and testing for low-power environments.
Familiarity with FPGA firmware design and embedded systems development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver time-critical projects.
Desirable Skills :
Hands-on experience with imaging technologies such as tomography (e.g., ECT, EIT, or ultrasonic systems).
Background in developing complex imaging systems (e.g., CT, MRI, or similar).
Knowledge of electromagnetic or ultrasonic tomography circuit design.
Experience with SCRUM project management principles.
