High Wycombe, office-based 2-3 days per week Mint Velvet began when founders Liz Houghton and Lisa Agar-Rea set out to create an unfailingly chic collection of contemporary, great quality staples and elevated fits that they felt were missing from their wardrobes.

In this key creative role, you will be responsible for leading design work for both print and digital under the direction of the Creative Director.
You will be accountable for ensuring the brand handwriting is true to Mint Velvet and consistent across all touchpoints.

The Role: Responsible for clear and consistent brand handwriting across all MV design, whilst striving to improve all design outputs Deliver and co-ordinate all design work for both print and digital using Asana (work flow tool) to help with time management and planning, and working with other team members to ensure this happens in the most effective manner Ensure consistent brand handwriting across all touchpoints and sign off work for middleweight designers Own seasonal 360 of design templates considering best practice for UX design and store environment, ensuring designs are fit for purpose and feeding back to the wider team ahead of the season starting Test all new print concepts and materials ensuring fit for purpose and on brand whilst being cost efficient Allocate design work within design studio and manage work flow to ensure all projects are delivered on time Ad hoc packaging and branding projects To join our vibrant and fast-growing business: You have creative flair, with an exceptional eye for quality and detail and aptitude for creative thinking You have a well-rounded understanding of design; both online and offline You have a strong understanding of composition, layouts, type, colour, and trends You are knowledgeable in Design, always knowing what our competitor-set are doing within design as well as keeping a keen eye on emerging trends to share with the team You are extremely well organised, able to plan and prioritise your time proactively You work well under pressure - able to anticipate challenges, responding and adapting effectively You have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills You have strong people and relationship management experience - a keen collaborator and team player You have great commercial awareness – maintaining a customer focus in all activities and decisions You'll be rewarded with: Competitive starting salary and great career prospects in a fast-paced business 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a day off on your birthday Company-funded private health insurance and access to Smart Health Life assurance Discretionary bonus scheme 50% staff discount Interest-free Season ticket loan Summer hours - 3pm finishes every Friday throughout June, July & August Bespoke induction support and ongoing development to help you thrive in your new role, including access to in-house coaching A welcoming and inspiring work-environment - take advantage of Yoga classes, social activities, an early finish on pay day and more
