Job Summary Engaging visual content and correct representation of the Aspire Executive Lounges brand is vital in ensuring consistency amongst our network of lounges, alongside ensuring our potential customers and partners are aware of who we are, what we do and where we operate.
The successful candidate will be a passionate, multi-disciplined and experienced Graphic Designer who wishes to play a leading role in the creation and execution of a compelling brand strategy and implementation of the brand, that supports our growth plans.
The Senior Graphic Designer will be the go-to person to ensure that every document, every sign, every communication, every webpage, and more is not only presented correctly, but is reflective of our overall brand ethos.
They will have at least 8 year's experience of design across both digital and traditional media, with the ideal candidate also having knowledge of art direction and branding and an interest in interior design.
At Aspire Executive Lounges, we believe that branding is not just a logo, or the responsibility of the Marketing Team, but rather is a collection of thoughts and feelings about experiences with Aspire Executive Lounges, and it runs through every single member of the organisation.
Creative Support marketing colleagues with the creation of visuals and graphics that can be used across a variety of campaign mediums.
Ensure that the Aspire Executive Lounges brand is correctly represented across all channels and customer facing communications Design marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics in-lounge signage, promotional materials and print collateral.
Develop compelling visuals for presentations, internal communications and trade shows.
Standardise and apply a consistent approach to in-lounge collateral.
Be aware of print processes and shape the display guidelines to ensure compliance across our global network of lounges.
Multi-disciplined and experienced with both print and digital design Brand Development & Guardianship: Be the brand guardian for Aspire Executive Lounges Collaborate with the wider marketing team to establish and refine the Aspire Executive Lounges brand identity.
Work with the wider marketing, product, digital and operations teams to ensure that all visual assets meet brand guidelines and support the overall customer experience.
Ensure that the brands look and feel are consistent across all guest touchpoints – online, in-lounge and through external communications.
Origination – the creation of new brands, dual-brands and sub-brands as required to meet business needs, goals and objectives.
Co-managing relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and agencies, ensuring the correct execution of the Aspire Executive Lounges brans to enhance guest experience wherever it is seen.
Create and manage a catalogue of brand assets.
Development and consistent application of the Aspire Executive Lounges brand, ensuring that all content satisfies the requirements of the brand guidelines, both internally and with external partners.
Stay up to date with design trends and innovations in the luxury and hospitality sectors to continually refine our approach and elevate the Aspire Executive Lounges brand image.
Be involved in the interior design and planning of new lounges, ensuring that brand representation is included, and the Aspire Executive Lounges brand runs through any new lounge that is built.
B2B: Design of bespoke tender packs and pitch documents.
Visually appealing print and digital material, that presents the Aspire Executive Lounges brand in line with our positioning and requirements of each individual brief.
Creation of a suite of templates for presentations, brochures and other materials that promotes the Aspire Executive Lounges brand to the appropriate audience.
Collaboration with cross-functional colleagues in determining tone-of-voice.
Proof-reading skills and a good understanding of English is essential Own and manage the printing of tender packs and other documentation.
Knowledge of print processes is desirable.
Art Direction: Develop a photography and videography style that showcases the Aspire Executive Lounges brand.
Lead the creative execution of photo and video shoots, from concept to completion, Work with photographers, stylists and other stakeholders to produce visuals that align with Aspire Executive Lounges positioning and image.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Proven track record within design in a similar role with an agency or B2C organisation, preferably within the Travel or Hospitality sectors.
A passionate and creative designer who is comfortable being hands-on with asset production, with an excellent portfolio of their own work to demonstrate experience.
Fluent in the Adobe Suite of products, In-depth knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign is essential.
Ability to use Canva or similar, to create templates for non-design colleagues Knowledge of asset management systems is beneficial Familiarity of social media and email design requirements Ability to communicate ideas clearly, effectively and persuasively to an individual or group.
Experience of, or a willingness to learn, about the impact of branding on behaviour and the effectiveness of branding, to constantly evolve the Aspire Executive Lounges brand image and positioning.
Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory and layout principles Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for design.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an excellent grasp of English spelling, punctuation and grammar.
Knowledge of, or an interest in, interior design and how branding can be integrated with physical features in our lounges.
Strong ability to work both collaboratively and on own and is highly organised and able to self-manage, plan, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build lasting and collaborative relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
