Senior Geotechnical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY An incredibly well established consultancy based in Belfast and actively looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on projects across the UK and Ireland.
You will initially be working independently, with a view to growing your own team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct site assessments and manage ground investigations Review and produce reports on soil parameters, foundations, and contamination Lead geotechnical design, including slope stability analysis, shallow foundation, pile, retaining wall, soil nail, ground anchor design, and piling platforms Design temporary works structures for deep excavations Supervise technicians and attend client meetings Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and quality standards REQUIREMENTS Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology Strong geotechnical design experience Proficient in design software and MS Office Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills Willing to travel; full driving licence preferred BENEFITS Flexible working Health cash plan Life Assurance Active social calendar
