Job Description This role is offered on a hybrid contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.

Purposes of Role Comic Relief has enjoyed a long and successful history of engaging the UK Public in our flagship campaigns, Red Nose Day and Sports Relief.
In our 40th year, we're re-imagining our integrated fundraising marketing approach and programme.
The role will develop and implement marketing strategies for multiple fundraising campaigns and initiatives in support of organisational income and engagement objectives.
Key responsibilities: Identify and define the marketing requirements for agreed fundraising campaigns and initiatives through expert facilitation of colleagues and develop and execute the required marketing plans to support fundraising strategies and objectives, including directly driving fundraising income generation.
Work with the Fundraising Creative Lead to develop campaign and fundraising marketing briefs for wider internal delivery teams and external agencies, as well as directly producing assets and materials that can be shared internally and externally.
Define and specify how marketing activities will contribute to fundraising goals, ensuring comms content/activity is consistent, strategically aligned, and focused.
Manage BBC Marketing Campaigns and day-to-day working management of campaign creative agencies.
Track and report on performance, identifying improvements or opportunities to optimise success.
Participate in business planning cycles, prioritising activities and setting clear objectives based on capacity, expertise, and team aspirations.
Keep abreast of the fundraising marketplace to identify opportunities to enhance Comic Relief's fundraising campaigns.
Line manage, coach, and develop the Fundraising Campaigns Marketing Manager.
Maintain regular communication and dialogue with staff, ensuring information is cascaded and escalated as needed.
Model an enabling, inclusive, and empowering leadership style that builds a values-based culture throughout the charity.
Person specification Knowledge of fundraising campaigns, tactics, and digital fundraising channels.
Experience in developing and rolling out marketing planning and delivery approaches across an organisation.
Experience of planning marketing activity for campaigns that drive audiences to take action.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
Project management experience.
A self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
Experience of fundraising for international and national causes.
Accredited fundraising or marketing qualification.
