We are looking for a dynamic,organized self-starter to join our Worldwide Food Safety andCompliance team as a Private Brands Senior Food Regulatory Manager.
This position will focus on leading the management ofall regulatory aspects relating to the launch of new own label foodproducts for Amazon own label products, ensuring they exceedcustomer expectations.
The role will be involved in all stages fromnew product concept, through to the launch of the product and postlaunch product regulatory review.
Theindividual will bring experience and knowledge of a number of foodcategories, to the team and support private label regulatorydecisions.
This role requires in-depth knowledge and expertise inEU food regulation.
The individual will work directly withsuppliers and internal cross-functional stakeholders to facilitatesuccessful product launches.
The individualmust be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills, ahigh bar for quality, strong customer obsession, and a track recordof operating in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidatewill be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention todetail, and be motivated by a fast-paced start up environment.
Key jobresponsibilities • Work with the team to ensure productselection meet EU regulatory requirements • Work withwider team to ensure product selection is appropriate and will meetor exceed customer expectations • Work with manufacturingpartners to ensure products have the correct regulatory andtechnical documentation • Attend pre-production / firstproduction runs ensuring product and process match that defined inthe specification • Keep abreast of new and upcoming EUregulation and emerging issues in food safety andquality • Support the wider food safety team bycontributing to shared process and policy development •Continuously identify and communicate improvementopportunities • Leverage technology to manage complianceprocesses BASICQUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of Microsoft Office productsand applications at an advanced level - Experience incompliance, audit or risk management - Bachelor's degreeor equivalent PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS - Project Management Professional (PMP) orequivalent certification - Experience leveragingtechnology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigmamethodologies to drive process improvements orequivalent - Master's degree orequivalent Amazon is an equal opportunitiesemployer.
