Senior Firmware Engineer

Senior Firmware Engineer - £90,000 plus bonus - C, C++ Embedded Development My Client in the Midlands is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer.

The Person we need: My client is looking for a seasoned expert, who will take full ownership of the FW development activities and outputs.
The person will have recent experience of a regulated industry, such as Fire, Medical, Aviation and be willing to bring process and rigour to the FW dev process at my client
Ideally, you have EN54 experience

B.Sc.
in Computer Science or other equivalent engineering discipline.

2.
At least 10 Years post-graduate experience
3.
A Strong process-focussed development approach.

4.
End to end Firmware development process experience.
5.
Proficient in C and C++11 , with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
6.
Strong understanding of embedded development and object-oriented design principles
7.
Extensive working knowledge of the STM32 chipset – M0 > M4 8.
Knowledge of KEIL IDE for STM32
9.
Experience of developing in FreeRTOS and using stacks
10.
A good understanding of XML parsing and data modelling for embedded systems
11.
Demonstrable experience of UML Modelling and diagrams
12.
Knowledge of TFT LCD display control drivers and GUI development
13.
A working understanding of embedded electronics
14.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GitHub)
15.
Strong understanding of RF technology stacks, ideally experience of developing proprietary protocols .

16.
Experience in developing firmware for low power safety critical devices.

17.
A working knowledge of the MISRA C coding standards
