Job summary We have an exciting band 7 opportunity to join our Finance and Performance Division of the Operations and Finance Directorate.

The post holder will be responsible for operational budgeting processes, including leading on budget setting for all Divisions within the Directorates The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply Main duties of the job The key elements of this post will include oversight of the production of an accurate monthly budget holder report, annual outturn forecast, ad hoc costing work and supporting and advising budget holders on all financial matters including investigating financial enquiries.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Fully Qualified Accountant CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies).
(professional level).
Or Part-Qualified Accountant working towards full CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) qualification at a professional level.
Experience Essential Significant experience in a Financial Management role.
Experience of developing and maintaining good working relationships within a team Desirable In depth understanding of NHS Trust's financial controls Management of large complex income and expenditure budgets Knowledge Essential Significant understanding of accounting and reporting regime Knowledge of accounting procedures and good practice Desirable Understanding of NHS accounting and reporting regime Skills and Attributes Essential Able to plan and organise workload for self and departments.
