Job Description Senior Finance Manager Reporting to Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, UK & Ireland Based in Marlow offices (hybrid working) Great opportunities for growth and career progression, this position has become vacant due to a promotional move. The role holder will develop and manage all aspects of regular financial and performance reporting, working closely with the Customer Trade Channel, and Business Excellence functions to develop key insights and capabilities.
Being able to work cross-functionally will be critical as this person will be an important business partner to Sales, Marketing, and the wider affiliate teams. This will include supporting in the areas of gross to net price investments, variable spend management, and the management of bottom-up sales forecast models.
The successful candidate will challenge our current ways of working in order to streamline processes, they will be confident to provide important decision support, and be proactive in optimising full P&L results.
Key Responsibilities Reporting, monitoring of daily sales for UK and Ireland affiliate to stakeholders including reviewing trends at customer/product level.
Management of non-headcount expenses including departmental reviews, month end postings reporting variance analysis.
Forecasting and annual budgeting submission.
In addition to non-headcount expenses responsibility for facial division which includes: Co-ordination of bi-monthly bottom-up sales forecasting with the sales teams, followed by leading review(s) with senior leadership team.
Ownership of our market models, articulating sales performance in terms of market growth, market share, and price.
Product volume submission to operations/supply chain – collaborating with the demand team to mitigate excess and obsolescence and out of stock scenarios Assist in the preparation of area (EUCAN) monthly reporting requirements Colloborate with business excellence to develop/streamline reporting to measurable against business KPIS and provide useful insights where possible.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support to key stakeholders, assisting in evaluating investment opportunities and optimising resource allocation.
