We are searching for a Senior Expert in Public Diplomacy for the European Union to be responsible for the overall coordination of a project in the United Kingdom.
She/he will have to manage technical specialists and deliver technical tasks specified under the project.
The Senior Expert will also guarantee the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall project management and implementation, including that projects outputs, monitoring, and reports are appropriate, consistent, timely and of good quality.
Qualifications and skills -Degree in a discipline relevant to public relations, public diplomacy, communication, project management, policy dialogue
- In case of absence of a degree, 2 years of relevant experience in the field of public relations, public diplomacy, communication, project management, policy dialogue or equivalent, in addition to the overall experience.
-Fluency in English
General professional experience -Minimum 10 years of general professional experience in a sector relevant to the scope of the assignment (public relations, public diplomacy, communication, project management, policy dialogue);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing long-term outreach strategies in the UK
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with European Union institutions
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams in the UK
Assets - Strong working knowledge of EU – UK relations, its policies and its political, business and civil society actors;
- A diverse portfolio showcasing work with international organizations, public institutions, private sector, and NGOs will be an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of the EU, its policies, its Member States and actors;
