£60,000 - £65,000) About the Role: My client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Events & Reservations Manager to join their prestigious international restaurant in central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing high-end events and reservations for a leading culinary brand.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury events management, particularly within the fine dining and hospitality sectors, and a track record of driving revenue through proactive and reactive sales.
You will manage a small but growing team ensuring the smooth running of both reservations and events.
The role will involve both overseeing events sales and planning as well as building and nurturing client relationships.
There is also the potential for this position to evolve into multi-site management within a year.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Proactive Sales: Identify and generate new business opportunities for private dining, events, and exclusive hires by leveraging your little book of industry contacts and networks.
Reactive Sales: Handle incoming event inquiries, convert leads into bookings, and manage the full sales process from initial contact to post-event follow-up.
Achieve Revenue Targets: Work towards meeting the restaurants annual events revenue targets, contributing to the overall goal of £1.2 million in event revenue.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and luxury event planners.
Ensure a seamless client experience from the initial inquiry through to post-event feedback.
Event Planning: Handle client meetings, providing bespoke event planning services and ensuring every detail aligns with their vision.
Be the face of the brand during exclusive hire events, personally meeting and greeting clients and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and mentor an initial team of 1, with plans to expand as the business grows.
Provide training, guidance, and support to your team in both sales techniques and event coordination.
As the business expands, take on multi-site responsibility, managing a larger team and overseeing event operations across multiple locations.
Experience: Experience in high-end event and reservations management, ideally in luxury venues/restaurants.
Proven track record of driving event sales and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong network of industry contacts and established relationships with high-net-worth clients and corporate accounts.
Experience using Triple Seats and 7Rooms or similar reservation and event management software.
