Job Title: Senior Estimator Location: Northampton (5 days in office) Salary: £50,000 + benefits About Us: Our client is one of the UK's largest suppliers of building materials to the building and construction industry.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly-skilled Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview: The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in the project planning and execution process, and be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating and also leading a team.
Key Responsibilities: Grading and assigning of incoming work to meet targets and appropriate to the skill set/development needs of estimators Taking the lead on Senior level estimating projects Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Development of Estimating team Ensuring accuracy and quality of all work produced and checked within the team; ensuring building regulations and requirements are met and understood In conjunction with the Head of Technical and Estimating Services ensure performance, accuracy and work flow targets set within the department are met Provide an efficient and effective service while maintaining relationships and standards Working in conjunction with the leadership team; continually look for new opportunities to promote and expand the service offering Review and improve estimating processes and systems to ensure the service offering remains up to date with regulatory, customer and business requirements In conjunction with the leadership team, ensure estimating prices and products used reflect our client's target markets Qualifications: Minimum of 1 years' experience in estimating level 3 projects Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills What's On Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative and supportive work environment Involvement in high-profile and innovative projects
