Park Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a fast growing and innovative manufacturer of specialist products to the construction industry, in the appointment of a Senior Estimator.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will play a pivotal role within the core team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the team produces precise and commercially viable quotations while collaborating effectively to deliver accurate mark-ups that align with customer project specifications.
This role involves applying best practices and industry standards when recommending company products, consistently exceeding customer expectations by providing prompt responses to inquiries, integrating feedback, and ensuring timely site deliveries.
Key Responsibilities Create consistent and precise quotations and implement amendments as required by internal preconstruction guidelines or customer requests for high-rise projects.
Develop detailed, clear, and efficient production drawings in a timely manner that meet manufacturing and building standards.
Provide technical support to engineers by designing tailored solutions that adhere to best practices, balancing functionality and cost-efficiency to secure orders.
Engage directly with customers, prioritizing communication to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with the production team to coordinate orders and schedules in line with customer requirements.
Facilitate and deliver CPD presentations, either virtually via Teams or in-person at office settings.
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the order process, liaising with other brands when necessary to gather and share project details.
Be an accessible resource for internal and external stakeholders requiring guidance, fostering confidence and support.
Deliver outstanding customer service, embodying a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
Work collaboratively with the Contract Sales team to ensure real-time updates on delivery schedules and performance targets.
Maintain accurate lead information in the required format.
Essential Qualifications and Skills Extensive experience in a fast-paced construction environment in a comparable role - estimating, quantity surveying highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of construction details and on-site practices.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven expertise in customer-facing roles involving negotiation and relationship management.
A target-oriented, driven, and ambitious mindset.
