Senior data engineer role
Must have AWS or Azure cloud experience
Certifications in either AWS or Azure desirable

Work with our expert data and analytics consultants to help customers deliver more value from their data.
This will be a senior role in the technical delivery teams and will guide and support the ongoing data strategy and roadmap goals of our customers.
Day-to-day work will involve project delivery and collaborating with stakeholders across our internal and customer teams.
You will act as a champion and subject matter expert for data engineering and Azure cloud platform ways of working across the business, helping to cross-skill and upskill others.
You will also be heavily involved in the outreach and knowledge sharing that Hypercube does.

We will help you grow your brand through speaking, blogging, or other outreach methods should you prefer.
Finally, you'll be in the driving seat to help shape and win new projects, whether that be through presales demos, meeting with prospective customers, or shaping longer-term relationships.
Work with developers, managers, and business stakeholders to understand and define components of the data landscape and how it relates to the data strategy
Understand and translate end-user requirements into designs and delivery plans for effective data solutions
Design, develop, execute, and maintain highly automated data pipelines using cloud technologies
Analyse and resolve data quality issues
Build, maintain, and support data workstreams and the necessary infrastructure as part of a data and analytics delivery team
Produce high-quality communications, documentation, and presentations of solutions for colleagues
Subject matter expert and evangelist for cloud data technologies
Contribution to Hypercube's blog and other outreach efforts
Working with the business development team to shape and win new projects
Helping to grow both our internal knowledge and skillsets as we scale.

Storage and modelling - Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse
Ability to act as a senior mentor and leadership figure for a growing data and analytics consultancy
Building projects or sharing knowledge in public – whether that be contributing to open source, blogging, YouTube, content creation, speaking at events, or similar.
Experience translating designs of Azure data solutions into action
Data modelling experience
Analysis/requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation of data platform and Azure technologies
Experience in collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams, including software engineers, DevOps and infrastructure teams, data scientists etc.
Experience in implementing integrations of the Azure data platform to various types of external and on-premises systems
Experience with migrating large, complex on-premises data warehouses to Azure
