The Role: The Senior Energy Analyst will be comfortable working in the energy industry and should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role.
You will report directly to the Team Lead and support them with the analysis and reporting requirements of the wider team including the Head of Energy Management and Senior Energy Managers.
You will have a specific focus on planning and managing the various Energy compliance submissions for clients along with support from other team members as well as assisting the Senior/Energy Managers with data gathering for analysis.
Responsibilities: Responsible for ongoing reporting for our clients' various legislative requirements including: CCAs, SECR, Efficiency projects, load shifting and storage.
Liaise with customers & Account Managers to obtain site specific data such as, production, occupancy, Operational times etc, to support the delivery of Energy Management as a Service contracts.
Collect and screen data Carbon reporting (SECR or Net Zero).
Undertake triage of data alerts for the Energy Control Centre and raise relevant alerts to the Energy managers & Customers.
Provision of automatic reports for energy usage patterns to support audit team in identifying energy and carbon reductions.
Support in the delivery of feasibility studies, the creation of digital twins for various clients.
Collaborate with sales team on Compliance specific business development, acting as a point of reference for EMT services.
What are we looking for?
Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in UK energy regulations, including but not limited to the Climate change agreement scheme, Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), Non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).
Ability to analyse complex energy consumption data, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and derive actionable insights to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in conducting desk-based energy audits and assessments to evaluate the energy performance of buildings, systems, and processes, and identify energy trends and operational drivers.
Experience in preparing accurate and timely compliance reports and documentation, including submission of regulatory reports to relevant authorities, and maintaining comprehensive records of energy usage and compliance activities.
Familiarity with energy management systems and software tools used for monitoring, managing, and optimizing energy consumption, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience in managing compliance projects from initiation to completion, including coordinating cross-functional teams, setting and meeting deadlines, and managing resources efficiently.
