Senior End-User Computing Engineer (Linux)Bristol, hybrid£49, - £55, + excellent benefits package The role: a Senior End-User Computing Engineer with a focus on Linux systems.The successful candidate will lead the technical services supporting Linux end-user devices for all employees, ensuring these systems meet the diverse needs of the Business.This position requires expertise in Linux and relevant management solutions, high-level technical leadership, and a strong ability to align service delivery with the institution's broader objectives.Senior End-User Computing Engineer Technical skills required:Demonstrable experience of undertaking projects in a technical environmentExtensive knowledge of end user computing technologies and device management.Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.Experience using technologies such as Puppet or Ansible or ChefKnowledge of end user device security and associated technologies such as Antivirus and Firewalls.Experience of PowerShell.ITIL qualified at Practitioner LevelPRINCE 2 qualified at least to Foundation Level.Experience of Agile practices (eg Scrum, Kanban)The business offer hybrid working, once a week onsite.
