What you can look forward to as Senior EMC Engineer: Technical management of small to large EMC validation test programs Supervising the set up and setting up and conducting all types of EMC tests and ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly Preparation of test time estimates to support the quotation process Assisting the EMC Technical Manager with technical improvements and accreditation activities Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements Recording product condition or behaviour during and after test and creating concise and clear test records Working as part of large team to co-ordinate testing activities and help maintain the test facilities.
Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work Your Profile as Senior EMC Engineer: Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification with a good understanding in Physics Minimum 5 years practical test experience in a controlled test environment working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards Familiarity with testing, monitoring and control instruments Conscientious in attention to detail, accuracy and record keeping Ability to communicate clearly and to deal confidently with customers
