Senior Embedded Software Engineer

An exciting Contract Senior Embedded Engineering Opportunity has come available working a Medical Device start up.
Logistics: IR35 Status: Outside Length: 6-12 months Ad-Hoc arrangement (average of working 2 days per week) Rate: Flexible Working arrangement: Remote working (UK based) Company A start up Medical Device Client who specialise in next generation wearable device.
My client are looking at redeveloping the current product to create a new generation device with new features.
Senior Embedded Engineer My client would like the successful candidate to be able to take immediate ownership of the Embedded redesign and redevelopment with the support from the CTO.
Therefore, having 5+ years' experience working on medical devices is essential.
Other key skills required include: 5+ years experience working in an Embedded/Firmware environment Medical device safety standards Experience working on bare metal, microcontroller (STM) design and redesign Communication protocols (I2C, SPI) Experience integrating Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc.
PCB design and layout experience Application Process The interview process will consist of a Teams call to go through past experience.
They are also aiming to get someone started in December but are also happy to wait for notice periods for the right candidate.
