Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive/motorsport wiring systems, with expertise in the test and development of wire harnesses and looms.
You will play a key role in leading and mentoring other technicians, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Design, assemble, and test complex wire harnesses and looms for automotive and motorsport applications.
Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, providing effective solutions to technical issues.
Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support new product development and prototype builds.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Document processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical systems and automotive technologies.
Qualifications: Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in the automotive or motorsport industry, with a focus on complex wire harnesses and looms.
Strong knowledge of electrical principles and testing methodologies.
Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and develop junior technicians.
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
