Role Overview: As a Senior Editorial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing their editorial operations and driving content strategy.
You'll be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of editorial outputs, including the monthly magazine, reports, initiatives, winners lists, guides, newsletters, and more.
You'll manage a talented team, set processes, and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure high-quality, impactful content.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Lead the editorial team, including managing day-to-day operations, setting strategic direction, and nurturing team development.
Ensure effective training, stakeholder management, and process optimization.
Content Creation & Oversight: Oversee the production of copy, news features, and co-created content.
Maintain high standards for editorial quality and relevance.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients, head of marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver compelling and accurate content.
Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to drive the company's mission forward.
Strategic Growth: Contribute to the company's growth strategy by leveraging your editorial expertise to support scaling efforts and expanding our reach.
Travel: Manage and participate in events and conferences across Europe, including major cities like Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, Paris, Geneva, as well as London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh.
Additionally, travel to New York twice a year.
Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as an editor with a strong background in investment and asset management journalism.
Experience in managing a team and setting up editorial processes is essential.
Skills: Exceptional editorial skills with a track record of successful content management.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to handle tough situations, staff conflicts, and team dynamics effectively.
Personality: They're seeking a proactive, entrepreneurial individual who is not afraid to be vocal and assertive.
