Senior Ecologist Midlands- HybridPermanent, full-time Competitive salary + Company car or car allowance plus benefits You will provide ecological consultancy to existing and new projects and provision of ecological services to the Group.
Providing consultancy expertise for the disciplines of protected species and terrestrial ecology.More about the role:Delivery of protected species surveys, habitat surveys and preliminary ecological appraisals (PEAs) with associated reports, including mappingCo-ordinate and undertake ecological clerk of works (ECoW)Reactive and respond to environmental incidents, complete the fieldwork necessary to enable a professional ecological impact assessment to be completed with report writingProvide advice to the wider Group and clients on potential ecological impacts on emergency and / or planned works and specialist input within multi-disciplinary teamsInput to the delivery of Water & Ecology reports, including writing and review, monitoring strategies and protocolsMentoring staff, supporting their development of fieldwork techniques, including identification in relevant disciplines, analytical and written skills.
