We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis or part-time, with guaranteed hours.
As a Senior Domiciliary Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
You will work closely with our care managers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that each client's individual needs and preferences are met.
You will also supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, following their individual care plans - Work closely with care managers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated - Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed - Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and preferences, and make necessary adjustments to their care plans - Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients - Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records - Ensure all care workers are following company policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation - Participate in on-call duties as required - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports - Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions - Act as a positive role model for care workers, promoting a person-centered and compassionate approach to care - Assist with recruitment and training of new care workers as needed - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development of the service - Provide out-of-hours coordination support when needed.
Requirements: - NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a domiciliary care setting - Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to use electronic call monitoring system (ECMS) to complete daily report, review care plan of service users.
