Kenna Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Document Controller ideally from a Tier 1 Main Contracting background.
This is joining one of the UK's Leading Main Contractors on their exciting new project in Slough.Overview:A key member of the site-based project team, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of all project related information and documentation, the structure and maintenance of the project common data environment (CDE), the project WIP environment and Asite.You will act as the central point of contact in all matters in relation to the project including providing training, support, and ongoing communication with all members of the project team.
The role will focus on ensuring information management consistency across a live project, rigorously maintaining control and traceability of the documentation from project initiation, through to completion and handover.Responsibilities:Responsible for being the first point of contact in regard to project related information and managing the Asite project workspace.Process documentation in a timely, accurate, and efficient to the team in-house as well as consultant, contractor and third-party teams externallyControl and ensure the teams in-house and externally adhere to the project protocol and perform QA checks of all information being released and received to ensure the required information is visible.Control and implement the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by the department teams in-house as well as external design teams.Review and maintain the accuracy of records by ensuring the project trackers / registers are up to date when new information, comments or statuses have been assigned in order for the team in-house to review when / if required.Liaise with and distribute project related documentation to the team in-house, external consultants, contractor or third-party companies and ensure the correct actions are assigned to the correct persons within a company's team.Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentationProduce reports for the department teams weekly or a monthly basis and chase the in-house team and external teams on documentation outstanding their review and actions outstanding.Manage the Asite project workspace and action requests such as adding new users to the workspace when/if requiredHelp solve Asite problems that arise from any contractor and design team membersUpdating the project directory when requiredScanning, copying, and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholdersLiaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirementsData entry, research and analysis, reporting etcExperience/Knowledge:Residential experience ideally from a Tier 1 backgroundConstruction site-based experienceGood practical experience and application of ISO19650 and PAS 8672Good level of ASITE admin/user experienceWhat we can offer you:Salary between £40,000 - £45,000 plus annual bonusPrivate healthcarePension scheme 5%Life assurance25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysProgression plan
