Key Responsibilities: MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Responsible for delivering on the long-term global strategy for KIMMTRAK (CEO of the molecule). KIMMTRAK is the first TCR, and the first T-cell engager in a solid tumour to be approved. They will lead the cross-functional Global Product Team (GPT) to successfully deliver the integrated global disease strategy, inclusive of commercial, development, regulatory, and medical affairs plans. They will report to the Head of Commercial and be part of the company's Commercial Leadership Team (CLT).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accountable for the KIMMTRAK franchise strategy and execution, including additional ImmTAC molecules in the gp100 franchise, new formulations, and combinations in development.Leads the cross-functional KIMMTRAK GPT to define and drive the strategic direction and execution of the medicine from Phase 2/3, launch, lifecycle indications through to patent expiry.Ensures Global Launch Readiness for new indication across all key functions (Medical Affairs, Commercial, Development, Regulatory, etc.) and geographies.Drive the KIMMTRAK execution including evolving the brand strategy based on insights and monitoring performance to KPIs agreed with CLT.Delivers forecast and operations budget continuously considering key internal and external impact, risks, and opportunities on revenue.Lead the quarterly business review process for KIMMTRAK and the Melanoma franchise, including implications from internal and external developments (e.g. competitive intelligence, clinical trial data, etc.)Represent Commercial in identifying and assessing major business opportunities (internal and external) with potential for major impact on IMMUNOCORE's gp100/Melanoma Franchise long term growth / profitability.Core participant in the Commercial Leadership Team to build and advance the IMMUNOCORE commercial vision, talent development, capabilities, and operations.Member of the Global Medicines Committee which monitors, endorses, and/or approves the strategic plans for Medicines in market or close to market for the company.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Experience & knowledge: Global Oncology experience required.Experience with late-stage development (as part of GPT) required.Significant knowledge and experience in drug development, particularly from Phase II through life cycle management, including external sponsored research.Experience with business case development, brand strategy planning, market access and monitoring brand performance.Curious and data driven mindset, constantly questioning assumptions, and working with a sense of urgency to enable the delivery of the best care to patients with cancer.Collaborative with a strong desire to partner internally and externally to achieve shared goals.Ability to lead, influence, and work in a complex and cross-functional environment regardless of reporting structure.Experience managing a team.Understanding of external laws, codes and company policies that apply to the healthcare industry.Fluent spoken and written English.SPECIFIC BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES: A continuous innovation and improvement mindset.Proactive and results orientated.Professional and organised approach, with ability to multi-task.Resilient, dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic.Visible and credible leadership skills gained in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.Education & qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related scientific field (MD or PHD preferred).
