Senior Dental Nurse / Bodmin, Cornwall / Full Time
MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Bodmin, Cornwall to recruit a Senior Dental Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
Available as soon as possible with notice periods taken into consideration. Practice belongs to a non-profit community based dental group. Full time opportunity, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Salary £31,000 per year. Senior Nurse must have a minimum of 5 years' Dental Nursing experience. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will assist in various duties such as chairside duties, patient care, infection control, setting up decontamination of instruments, maintaining equipment, leading & mentoring a team of Nurses, overseeing reception & staff rotas, ensuring CQC requirements are met & managing audits, maintaining stock, working alongside the PM to ensure the smooth running of the practice & occasional reception duties. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, be well organised and able to work effectively under pressure. This position may involve travelling to other sites within the dental group. Multi surgery dental practice, newly renovated with state-of-the-art technologies / facilities. Practice offers general dentistry alongside Sedation & Hygiene services. All candidates must hold a relevant Dental Nurse qualification and have a minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience. You will be added to the company indemnity insurance which is paid for. Candidate will be GDC registered and valid DBS check will be required.
