Salix, part of the RSK Group, is looking to appoint a Senior Delivery Manager (Civils / Earthworks & General Contracting) on a full time, permanent basis.
The role will be based out of their head office in Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire, with travel to the Lichfield site. We are a respected and leading provider of sustainable solutions to river restoration and erosion control projects in the UK.
We provide spillway and shoreline protection and inland dredging and wetland habitat creation schemes.As a Senior Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the performance of the delivery team and will lead from the front in terms of health and safety, due process and ensuring project success.Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for day-to-day business as usual for our General / Civil's / Earthworks delivery teams.Oversee quality and workloadOffer Support in a leadership role to all site personnel and identify areas for improvement or additional support as required.Identify continual improvement opportunities for the execution of all of our construction / contract delivery processes.Carry out Tender Site Visits, Identify Labour requirements, challenges in delivery, plant requirements and report to the commercial team.Assist the commercial team with tender returns from a construction / build point of view.Skills / Experience:Extensive experience as a Senior / Delivery Manager within a similar industryLine management experienceUK Driving licenceTender returns experience from a construction / build point of view.Salary / Benefits:Salary commensurate with experienceFlexible benefits packageCycle to work scheme#rskfamily #environmentaljobs #salesjobs RSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.RSK Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer
