Position: Senior Care Assistant Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant: Home Management Support: Assist the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager in the efficient and caring management of the home.
Conduct walking handovers, ensuring accountability for all residents at the start and end of shifts.
Promote staff contribution to the efficient running of the home, fostering the right atmosphere and leading by example.
Training and Development: Support the training and development of all staff.
Ensure implementation and monitoring of the in-house training program to a high standard.
Contribute to residents' personal care needs, maintaining and promoting independence.
Communication and Interaction: Lead, motivate, and mentor staff while being a team player.
Communicate and interact effectively with both residents and staff.
Essential Attributes: Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
Effective communication and interaction skills.
