Senior Data Platform Engineer Salary: £80,000 – 90,000 + Bonus and benefits Location: London – Hybrid We are currently seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join a prestigious retailer that's evolving into a digital-first, data-led organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Data Platforms, you'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to data-driven decision-making, helping millions of customers and thousands of colleagues alike.

The Opportunity As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you'll play a vital role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust data platform that's essential to the business's ongoing digital transformation.
With a focus on Azure, you'll work with cutting-edge cloud-based technologies to deliver high-quality data solutions that enhance both performance and security.
Here's what you'll be doing:

Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure data platform infrastructure using Azure Services. Monitoring performance across compute and storage solutions to maintain an optimised platform. Leading CI/CD deployments for data infrastructure, ensuring robust and seamless integrations. Addressing and resolving platform-related incidents with a proactive approach. Managing Azure costs and identifying optimisation opportunities to drive efficiency. Ability to manage and optimise platform performance and costs effectively.
