Senior Data Engineer UK (Remote) Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 About the Role Consult Energy are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our client who has a remote team.
You'll design and deliver data solutions, mentor a talented group of Analysts and Engineers, and play a key role in driving their technical initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions, including data warehouses and lakes.
Lead data integration processes, ensuring seamless flow across systems.
Write clean, efficient code and ensure best practices through code reviews and mentoring.
Collaborate with Data Architects, Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, drive process improvements, and manage technical risks.
Key Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a delivery-focused, Agile environment.
Expertise in SQL, data modelling, and performance optimisation.
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools; experience with Databricks and Python is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring teams.
