This organization has partnerships with all the major UK networks and carriers and is known for providing comprehensive telecom services to both individual and business clients.

As a Senior Credit Controller, you will take full ownership of the company's credit control process, managing payments, resolving disputes, and minimising bad debt across multiple brands.
This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach to managing challenging accounts, ensuring efficient cash flow, and reporting directly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities: Credit Control Management: Oversee the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring efficient management controls are in place.
Multi-Brand Oversight: Manage the credit control process across multiple brands with varying criteria.
Debt Collection Improvements: Identify areas for improvement within the debt collection process.
Payment Management: Post and allocate customer payments, process credit card payments, and issue manual credits.
Direct Debits: Manage monthly direct debit collections, including handling bounced direct debits.
Client Communication: Produce client statements, send reminders, and follow up via phone, email, and post to ensure timely payments.
Dispute Resolution: Handle more difficult accounts and disputes, setting up negotiation processes to achieve settlements.
Reporting: Provide monthly reports on aged debtors and credit control activity to senior management.
Bad Debt Management: Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions, and payment plans to minimise financial risk.
Credit Checking: Implement and manage a credit-checking process.
Responsibility & Accountability: Take full ownership of all credit control and accounts receivable matters.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: At least 2 years of experience in end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes.
Legal Knowledge: Understanding of legal procedures related to credit control and debt collection.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, particularly in challenging customer negotiations.
Time Management: Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure.
Proactive & Independent: Able to work independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Confidentiality: Upholds the highest standards of confidentiality in handling sensitive financial matters.
