You will work as an integral part of a dynamic and highly professional Cost Team supporting large-scale Offshore Wind projects in the UK. As a Senior Cost Engineer Offshore Wind, you will:
Be responsible for the development and implementation of an effective and efficient project cost management system for the Mona and Morgan offshore wind farm projects.Proactively lead the development of processes, procedures, systems and tools in support of the cost management system for Mona and Morgan.Deliver the high-quality cost forecasts for allocated Mona and Morgan workstreams and related monthly cost forecasting and reporting requirements, in a timely manner.Provide project leaders and shareholders with high-quality cost related insights to facilitate decision-making processes, including variance analysis and trends.Be responsible for ensuring Cost discipline integration with other key project processes, such as Planning, Risk Management, and Management of Change.Be accountable for ensuring that the Mona and Morgan Cost Tool includes the latest budget, commitments, actuals/accruals, AWP&B updates, and Trends/Changes, as agreed.Successfully develop the interface with workstream leaders/work package managers and contractors to review and challenge costs and encourage simplification and efficient working.Assist in the review of ITT and bids, and effectively work with M3 Estimator on updating Capex updates and FID sanction estimates.Provide timely, regular, and reliable assessments of the VOWD, ensuring that accruals stand up to audit.Effectively manage expenditure tracking and control, ensuring compliance with project WBS and budgets.Identify and quantify actual and potential Forex impacts.Provide valuable input to Cash Calls.Provide hands-on support with the contract close out, Financial close/reconciliation, benchmarking and shared learning.
