The Senior Coordinator Education Programmes will lead and develop our key secondary school delivery.
You will be responsible for designing and developing sessions and activities that will have the largest impact on young people.
These programmes focus on young people who face significant barriers to learning.
You will work closely with colleagues in the Education Team to achieve shared goals and will directly line manage one staff member.
Part of this role will be focused on content development but it will also require active delivery on the programmes.
Along with other members of the team you will also have a small caseload of young people to mentor.
This role will support the following programmes; Premier League Inspires weekly lessons designed for students who face barriers to learning which prevent them from achieving their potential.
Delivery will be in local Schools Pupil Referral Units and from our Community Stadium Hub.
Focus 30 weekly intervention to support secondary students on the cusp of exclusion and struggling to manage their own behavior in school.
Both classroom and practical elements using sport as a motivational tool.
Mentoring weekly 1:1 sessions for children & young people in care at the edge of care or those associated with external partner agencies such as Youth Justice Service & NHS.
Supporting with managing challenging behaviours social emotional needs and identifying strategies to help move forward.
Short Breaks termly after school club & holiday projects for Primary & Secondary children with SEND General Responsibilities Take a lead on the development and delivery of the Premier League Inspires and Focus30 Programmes.
Responsible for designing and developing a highquality programme curriculum timetables and session plans with clear learning objectives and achievable outcomes.
Establish maintain and develop effective partnership working with stakeholders including relevant external agencies and organisations (e.g Schools Premier League Charitable Fund; LB Hounslow) Complete all monitoring and evaluation using internal systems (Salesforce; Views) in line with Premier League and other funder requirements; including monthly updates to Senior Manager Education.
Maintain accurate records as appropriate for each project including Risk Assessments Registers Session Logs Reports & case studies (highlighting the benefit of the project); tracking progression and demonstrating clear impact & outcomes.
Regularly quality assure and reflect on all programme activity adapting content where necessary to maintain high levels of young people engagement and school partnerships.
Support young people to access other internal and external programmes in line with their needs and interests working alongside colleagues to provide positive pathways.
Line manage and develop the Programme Coordinator Ensure that all delivery for which you are responsible complies with all Brentford FC CST health and safety and safeguarding requirements Support with any other projects in line with department funding requirements as directed by Senior Manager Education.
Attend all scheduled supervision meetings and training events as directed by Line Manager.
1:1 Mentoring Responsibilities Liaise with Senior Coordinator Mentoring & Safeguarding Team to risk assess cases prior to start.
Meet with the young person and codesign a Personal Development Plan (PDP) based around Goal Based Outcomes.
Deliver mental wellbeing support for young people and manage a caseload providing support at suitable times for the referral either face to face or virtually.
Safeguarding: Participate in training sessions related to safeguarding and emergency response.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.
Maintain accurate records of incidents concerns and actions taken.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to create a cohesive approach to safeguarding.
Coordinate with relevant authorities and emergency services as necessary.
Stay informed about safeguarding policies procedures and best practices.
