AWE is recruiting a Senior Contract Manager to carry out post contract management for Professional Services contracts.
Salary: from £60,000 to £80,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience) Location: RG7 4PR , located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking .
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.

Let us introduce the role As the Senior Contract Manager you will understand the requirements of contracts, frameworks and agreements that the Business entered into and advise on how to get the most favourable outcomes for AWE, that put delivery to time, cost and quality at the centre.
You will be defining contract terms, managing partner contracts, agreeing work orders and liaising with stakeholders.
CEMAR is utilised to manage NEC contracts.
Who are we looking for?
We are ideally seeking individuals with experience in public sector procurement / contract management, who have public procurement regulations knowledge.
You will have an understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, including pre and post contract, and experience of utilising CEMAR to manage NEC contracts.
You will have had previous line or task Management responsibility, stakeholder management skills and supplier relationship management skills.
To ensure success as a Senior Contract Manager, you should have previous experience defining NEC 4 and/or CCS contract terms.
You will have an in-depth understanding of business requirements for the assigned areas and will be motivated to drive value for money, applying industry leading contract management techniques to mitigate commercial risk.
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: NEC accreditation or experience.
Professional Services background.
CCS contract experience preferable.
Experience in business governance and public sector governance.
Experience in scoping deliverables.
Experience in contract variation management.
Experience in budgetary control.
