Opportunity to progress quickly into Head of Delivery / Directorship roles. **** Vital is working with a leading infrastructure development company dedicated to improving and enhancing rail transportation systems. Due to continued expansion in operations, we are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Contract Manager to oversee the contractual aspects of Civil development and enhancement projects.
Key Accountabilities Subcontractor Management: Oversee the efficient delivery of subcontractor work across multiple railway projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to schedules. Contractual Oversight: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from contract initiation to closure, including drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts, change orders, and other legal documents related to rail station development and enhancement projects. Budget Monitoring: Work closely with finance teams to monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast potential financial impacts of contractual changes. Contract Compliance: Ensure all parties adhere to contract terms and conditions, including performance metrics, deliverables, milestones, and quality standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in contract management and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures. Requirements Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the transportation and infrastructure industry, with a focus on rail station development and enhancement projects. Strong understanding of Civil Enhancement and Development disciplines alongside Lineside Access rules (Essential) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
