Reporting to the MD of the company you will play a pivotal role within the senior management team and work towards a Directors position.
As an organisation they currently operate across a range of sectors delivering Infrastructure, Highways, Industrial, Bridges, Flood Defence and Car Park schemes throughout the UK.
As the appointed Senior Contract Manager your main role will be to oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring the work is completed to the agreed time and budgets.
You will be the point of contract during contract negotiation, to solve contract disputes, contract renewals, cancellations and amendments.
Responsibilities: Ensure all works are executed in accordance with the Contract, scope of work, client requirements, corporate practices and project procedures.
Have a strong understanding of all key project processes, including construction and engineering, procurement, project controls reporting and contract management.
Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Maintain a healthy balance between operational involvement and leadership.
· Develop and maintain the client relationship and exceed expectations, ensuring requirements are met throughout the project.
Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership and people management skills Ability to negotiate and influence Essential Experience: Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting Experience of MS project Knowledge of the NEC contract including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms Educated as a minimum to HNC/HND/Degree level (or equivalent) SMSTS CSCS card Experience of Pre-Qualification and Tendering process for a number of multi-discipline Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with both customers and all levels of staff Problem solving skills and analytical thinking This company has an exciting future ahead as it embarks on their expansion plans.
